Soft Landings

A small-scale ecological restoration that sits within a transitional landscape where upland woodland gradually gives way to a red maple swamp and freshwater wetland. The property includes a sloped hillside, woodland edge, shaded forest understory, and moist lowland habitats, creating a remarkable diversity of growing conditions within a relatively small space. Over the past several years, I have transformed the landscape by removing invasive species and restoring native plant communities.
