Paradise in Progress

I love the life this ordinary suburban yard supports!! Started by converting some lawn into three different wildflower areas a few years ago. Everything accelerated in summer 2025 when a dozen dead ash trees were taken down on the back 1/4 acre of the property, and they cut everything else (mostly invasives) to the ground. Now it’s a race to replant with natives - canopy and understory woody plants plus wildflowers - while keeping the invasives from coming back.
