The Hay, Honey Farm
The Hay Honey Farm is a private arboretum in development since 1989. The plant collection includes both natives and non-natives in a series of gardens that circle a year round stream. A deer fence and variations and elevation and soils allow for a wide range of species. Much work has been done to restore native habitat once lost to invasives. Work is ongoing as new pests and diseases have made unimaginable changes. Mitigating those changes keeps us learning every day.

The Hay, Honey Farm's extensive gardens have been carefully added to the landscape since 1989 in a naturalistic manner, with a respect for the history and topography of the site, and consistent with the broader surrounding atmosphere of Pleasant Valley.
